One day, one story. 350 km of paragliding in one go from Moselle-Nord: "We've been waiting for this moment for eight years."

Frédéric Clauss, from Metz, and Etienne Copez, from Pont-à-Mousson, covered the distance between Volmerange-les-Mines (57) and Le Tréport (76) in one go by paraglider. 350 km in nine hours! This is the distance record from this spot, one of the most popular in Northern Lorraine. For both of them, it was a crazy challenge. A look back at a day where, behind the passion, appeared meticulous preparation, frozen fingers, instrument failure, and rare sensations of freedom.
There are these sensations indescribable to the layman. The ground sloping slightly, the short grass, the wind climbing the hill, the body standing up, waiting for the moment. And then leaning forward, putting all its weight on it, moving forward. Behind, the sail lifts off the ground, rises. You then have to really run and suddenly feel the takeoff.
